This item is great for storing items. It obviously collapses to save on storage with a nice tightly fitting lid. The drawback is you cannot microwave it too long because the plastic is thinner than most tupperware and can melt. Other than that great item.

I first purchased one bowl in the market to "try it" first. Found out I loved it and started looking for other sizes, by this time they weren't available in markets around me so I ordered from Amazon. Sure glad I could find them, I use them in our 5th wheel trailer for many reasons,
they store flat, take up no more room than a plate and make several sizes in each not to mention they have lids, and can be collapsed when partially full for storage in refer. Love them....
